Outreach and mentoring

  • Sustainable Energy Activity Lab (SEAL) (2023–2024). Mentor for high school clubs working on year-long sustainable energy projects involving microbial fuel cells, with weekly labs and discussions.
  • FUTURE Ignited (2023). Peer advisor providing weekly guidance to underrepresented undergraduate students on graduate school applications.
  • First-year Success Research Institute (FSRI) (2023). Summer research mentor for three first-year students from historically excluded backgrounds.
  • Muir High School (2018–2020). Tutor in math and science through the Caltech Y Rise program.
  • Caltech Outreach (2017–2018). Helped organize Pasadena Science and Art Night, Tech Savvy Science Day for Girls, and facilitated talks through the Caltech Center for Diversity.
  • Georgia Tech PLUS (2013–2016). Peer-led study leader, developing interactive weekly review sessions for physics and calculus.
  • Georgia Tech Invention Studio (2014–2016). Volunteer instructor on fabrication equipment; hosted STEM outreach workshops for local high schools.
